Here is her obituary that was in the newspaper:

She was born on April 8, 1928 in Rigby, Idaho to Grant Pinnock and Millie Glenn Pinnock. She lived there until the age of 18, when she moved to Los Angeles, CA. Shortly thereafter, she was hired to be the personal secretary to the Governor of California, Governor Knight. She remained in the position for four years, during which time she married her high school sweetheart, Stanley Levi Thornton. They were married on July 1, 1950. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Lyle, and great-grandson, Jacob. Services will be held at the LDS Chapel, 5550 Ohio Street, Yorba Linda on Jan. 8 at 10:00 a.m. A viewing will start at 9:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to The Alzheimer's Association of Orange County.

Things are slowly getting back to normal. We went to the cemetery the other day for the first time. It was difficult because it was the first reality that she is actually gone. Hopefully the more we visit the easier it will be. We are also all getting over being sick for 2 weeks.
